Kustom Korner Invite

Next Sunday the new shop Kustom Korner opens in Ede (NL).
Choppers, Bobbers, Trackers, Kustom Cars, Vans and kustom kulture loves are invited to come to the opening.

will try to go myself but first I have to find a new studio before the end of this month..

Hannneke's boom

Kay asked me if I wanted to go for a ride with some friends. I told him I was on my way to Amsterdam. 1.5hours later I arived in Amsterdam when the sun went down.

Jelrik's cb550 had some battery problems but it started in the end. We checked the new bar Roest in Amsterdam Oost. The Bar was almost empty when we arrived so we left and after that we went to Hanneke's Boom. Great new pirate bar on a very nice location. The worst live band I've seen in ages was playing there but we had a great view and some nice drinks.
Not bad for a Monday night :)

project BMW R80 Jelly Flash

My best friend Jelly Flash sold his Suzuki TL1000 and bought a 1986 R80
I guess he's bitten by the classic bike bug, ha
He came to my studio to show the bike.

We decided to follow the Amstel river to ride to Gouda. Great 1 and a half hour ride!
We switched bikes along the way and this was the first time for me riding a Beemer with a boxer engine. Great machine. Like riding a very agile floating carpet.
It feels much lighter than you would expect from a 230+ kg bike.

He's got some wild plans with this Beemer. Updates will follow soon.
I rode the same route back via Meije. One of the most beautiful roads I know in the Netherlands

In Meije I ate some tasty Saté with frech fries at de Halve Maan. Not bad, not bad at all..!

some minutes later Kay called me..
